margaret’s hope house
Late Margaret Wakefield was a kind-hearted and altruistic person who have been a strong sponsor of orphans in South Sudan. When she passed on, her daughter, Ally Wakefield, picked up the mantel and continue in her mum footsteps. She donated $13,000 Australian dollars to secure the orphanage centre and dig a well in the compound. An extra helping hands would be needed to turn grass thatched girls house into a permanent or semi-permanent structure.
The diagram portrayed the stages of building the fence around the girl’s house. The fence would provide security to the girls in this orphanage centre. The orphanage centre is meant to be self-contained. A well has been dug in the compound to provide clean water and a shop will be built to generate extra income for the girls. If we get more money, the grass thatched house will be upgraded to a permanent or semi-permanent structure. Please be part of this story by donating using the button below.
